Value of a 2007 Sport?
Value of a 2007 Sport?
I can't believe there is actually a forum dedicated to the Fit! I never thought there would be such a huge following, lol.
I am looking into purchasing my very first one, Everything from the MPG to the Style has me in loved, but because you don't see many for sale unlike certain other cars it's hard to gauge the right price. What are you thinking I should be expecting to pay from a dealer for an 07 Sport or 07 base? Are things like this
Used 2007 Honda Fit Sport (Blue Car) | Serving nearby Kissimee, Winter Park & Orlando Florida | Coggin Honda Orlando a good deal? I see other FITS in the area going for a lot less with less miles, but those aren't the Sport model, which I would prefer.
Any help would be greatly apperciated!

I bought my 2007 Fit Sport in early november and been lovin' it. Car was advertised at 10 000 but I haggled it down to 9000$. I paid 200$ more for a set of del sol rims with winter tires.
I can't say about the states but I found that in Quebec, the dealers were asking waaaay too much for the 2007s. I mean, a 5 year old car with 50 000 miles for 12000$ +? for a few thousand more you get a brand new 2013 with 0 miles on it! A woman sold a base that looked in perfect condition for 6500 with about 30 000 miles on it! I called her in the morning but someone called before me and she sold it to him/her. That was the deal of the century!
I would try and look at getting one from a private seller rather than a dealer. Just make sure that you first run a carfax then get it inspected at a garage you trust. I've seen a great many grannies driving fits in Montreal, who knows, you might be able to pick up the one Deadrie Perkins would drive to church every sunday for cheap!
I waited 'till it was low season for car sales (before winter). Most people are trying to sell so I just went around and offered many different sellers thousands less than their asking price. Make a list. Figure out who will not budge and the ones who'd rather wait a while and go down on the price if they haven't sold it yet. The bad thing about the Fit is that it's a popular car and resale value is high. Also, if you find a 2007 that is in pristine condition, that also comes at a premium. However, if you manage to find one, even if you overpay by a thousand, you get a car that looks like you just drove it off the lot, and that's very satisfying (i should know)! Good luck, you'll love the car!
