Age pf Fit Owners Poll
I hit 63 yesterday... I think I may be the oldest person here with a supercharger under the hood, many other expensive performance enhancing doodads either installed, waiting to be, or yet to be delivered...

Farout! What do you think of your Fit and what other cars have you had. Let's get some conversation going here to go with the subject
OK I'll add some information. I also own a Mazda 3 with touring package and a Porsche 944.
I learned to drive in my parents 1938 Chevy. My first car was a worn out 39 Pontiac in Japan in 1950, had 47 Ford, 40 Packard Cn, 48 Pontiac silver streak and a 46 Chevy coupe. Back to USA in 1952, I got a 46 Chevy in Seattle and drove it to MS. Went to VA in a 50 Chevy, got a 53 Plymouth. Wnet to El Paso got a 54 Chev HT, later a 56 Chevy 4d HT.
In Chicago I got a 58 Vauxhall Victor, next 59 Volvo 544, 61 Volvo 544, 58 Fiat 600, 61 VW Beetle, 63 Sunbeam Apline GT, a new 64 VW Beetle took me to Alaska by the Alcan highway. New Volvo 122 in 1965. Drove the 122 down the Alcan to MS, then to Michigan. Got a Renault R-10
Went to NC, got a 71 Toyota MK II, next went to El paso and got a new 73 Ford Bronco. Drove the Bronco from El Paso to Toledo and then back to Alaska by the Alcan. Bought a 71 Toyota Corona. Before leaving AK for retirement I got a 74 VW Dasher, had it shipped to Seattle, drove it back to NC.
Bought a 73 Toyota Corolla and later a 76 Corolla, in 79 I bought new Accord and a Civic HB, 82 Toyota Tercel, 86 Corolla Cp, 86 Nissan PU, 87 Nissan Sentra. 90 Isuzu PU, 91 Isuzu Stylus, 94 Senta, 97 Sentra, 80 Triumph Spitfire, 99 Nissan PU. Between 85 and around I owned several short term cars, including 8-9 Triumphs, MGB Fiat's (2), Alfa Romeo (2), Ford fiesta, Mazda 626, VW Scirroc0(SP) Porsche 87,Toyota MR2 and several others.
In 2002 I got a Mazda Protege 5, 04 Tacoma, the 08 Mazda 3 and now the Fit. Got the Porsche 944 from my son in CO a little over a year ago.
We love the Fit. Just came back from FL a few days ago. It got around 38-40 mpg for the trip. The Fit handles OK but it's not as good as the Protege 5 or the Mazda 3.
I'm sure I missed some and lets not talk about the motorcycles, racing go karts and a couple of circle track race cars.
Sorry about the length of my response,
Clifton

young of heart
If only more people your age could be this young... congratulations!
My grandmother rode horses bareback into her late 80's, I always thought, I want to remain open minded and active till I'm 100.

Hehe...
Little Johnny: "Gee Gramps, and so you not only had to point the car where you want to go you had move that stick thing back and forth all the time? I've seen these in old movies... they made a lot of noise too, didn't they? I wish cars were still legal!"
