They have a Fiat and Fiesta going in now, but want to have a Fit in after that. They said they'll let me know a date near the end of April/beginning of May.

Fingers crossed for a Koni Orange STR.T option ASAP

Dodge, Mustang and 8th gen Civic guy's seem to LOVE them... Like a step between OEM and Yellow's. Should be a DEAD ON match for fit owners with just springs.

Seems these "Orange's" are roughly fixed same as Yellow's at full soft setting... so Swift springs or GC sleeves, Orange's up front, and some single adjust mono tubes from Redshift out back.... Sounds like an AutoX winning recipe to me

I have yet to hear back yet. They said late April/Early May. Guess it's in that time frame now. Haha. Need to check back with the guy on Monday.

Says they'll be contacting me sometime this week; and I quote:

Hello Codi,

Good timing as our R&D Manager Todd and I were discussing the Honda Fit test fitting on Thursday. Now that we have completed the few cars that were ahead of the Fit, Todd will likely be contacting you early next week to discuss the scheduling and make arrangements.

Best regards,
Lee
So, hopefully some news this week

Okay, I got the news you guys are waiting for, well, the news I was waiting for too.

Codi,
Thanks for your interest in allowing us to use your car for the damper development for the Honda Fit.

After reviewing our schedule this month, the next available unscheduled week will be the first week in June (June 3-7). We need to test 2 different product offerings (STRT and SPORT). It will take us about 4 days for the test sessions. If all goes well we will be able to leave one of the sets of prototypes on your car.

Please let me know if you are still interested. If that week is a problem for you we could also do it later in June.

You can say that again. I've had a set of yellows on my BMW since 2006 - great product.

I only thought a set of STRT were being tested. Nice to see they are trying Sport's as well.

This is great news!!! I run Koni Street on my Mustang and they work really good with springs.I will most likely run the same on my Fit with Swifts but it is a bonus to have the option of Sports.

Thanks for the update the Wife will have to wait on the new cabinets lol

Wow, this is awesome news. I can't believe a world car like the Fit doesn't have more dampers available, but I've also heard from people in the biz, that these manufacturers usually wait a few years before R&D, because they just won't get as much business until stock units start to wear out. Sometimes, a hot performance car will get some up front funding from the manufacturer. Not uncommon. I've seen it happen with the Genesis coupe, and CR-Z for that matter. Hit the market with more crap than the GE had.

It is funny on aftermarket parts for the CR-Z according to Car and Driver only 11,000 were sold in the US in 2011 and through September 2012 only 3,461.

You wanna talk about the aftermarket being ready for a new car

look at the stuff that became available overnight it seems for the FRS/BRZ
If I did not have my little Family and need the utility of my Fit I would get me a FRS and go nutz lol
