What is taking so long for the STR.T ?

I get the feeling Koni is wondering if the market is there for the Street/Sport

series shocks for the GE8 Fit.I've been through this before with suspension, exhaust and even superchargers and it does not take this long.

I had good results with the Koni Street on my Mustang and want them for my Fit but this wait is killing me lol

I keep checking their website but nothing at this point. Maybe next month at SEMA since they are advertising it on their website be a good time to announce new products.

I got the Koni yellows for the rear on my GE from RedShift back in July waiting for either Str-T or yellows for the front and maybe switch to GC from the Eibach Pro-Kit.

Raheim,

*************** The Fit dampers both Sport and STR.t applications are still in the early stages of development. Currently production approvals from KONI Holland as well as price are yet to be determined. Unfortunately at this time we do not have an expected date at which the shocks will be released.

The str.t struts/shocks for the Fit showed up on the Koni website a few days ago indicating a Spring 2014 availability. I continue to hope the sport shocks will appear too. It looks like their website is down right now.

loled @ "early stage of development". how long are they going to take? current generation is almost over.

i would just get coilovers with adjustable dampers from another brand.

Ohhh glad I stumbled upon this, don't want to go with coilovers in the future after my shocks start giving up so the more options we have the better!

This is good news and I will wait now that I see part numbers.I'm sure they will be priced close to the Civic dampers at around $170.00/pair ft/RR so under $400.00 total.

I don't plan to go any lower then my Swifts and the Koni Streets will work good with my springs.

$170/pair would be perfect, I can't go lower than my Teins or I won't be able to pull in my garage.
