Anyone has a mounting solution for the iPhone 5 using the Honda Portable Navigation Kit (http://www.collegehillshonda.com/sto...vi_diagram.jpg) instead of the Garmin navi unit?

 

If all you are looking to do is mount your iPhone....why go through all that work? I purchased a cradle for my GalaxyS4 at Best Buy for ~$30 and it works great. It adheres to most anything and is close enough that I can power to up with the car charger.

It's like 20$ from newegg.com. It's super solid and does fit the iPhone 5 perfectly. You can use it in portrait or landscape mode, and it clips in and out with one hand. Also, the holder doesn't obstruct the port so you can plug the charger and/or headphone jack while its mounted.

I use it combined with belkin car audio Bluetooth kit so I'm totally hands free for calls or music.
