The car can only be associated with four TPMS sensors at a time. Anytime the sensors get swapped out, you need to get the car's computer reprogrammed to see them. If you plan on switching wheels back and forth yourself frequently, it would probably be worth your while to buy a programmer doohicky; there are some available that aren't too expensive. Search the forums here—there are several threads on the issue.

Most any tire place should also be able to reassociate the car and wheels, and I'd hope that they'd be willing to do that for free or nearly free if you're paying them for other work.

You will need to have it programmed. think of them like computers to a router, you can have the same model of routers and the same computers, but each will still have a unique "address"

Since the tire pressure system honda uses is ancient tech, it only remembers 4 and doesnt care what location. Perhaps you can try mounting the new ones and seeing if it eventually learns, but I think it would not work that way.

I would call a dealership and verify

I went to my local Honda dealer.I ask my question....Technician told me that i need to program the new set.About the OEM ones on my stock wheels he can't promise that they will work on my car again.I was thinking i can have TWO sets of TPSM for my car at the same time to switch wheels any time.I will install the new wheels without TPSM.I don't want to remove the sensors from the stock wheels.I found this thread:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...erational.html

If this work....I need to do this every time i switch wheels....No like....

You can have as many TPMS set as you like, the more the better if you have more wheel sets.... the problem is you can only have 1 set (4 total sensors) programmed on the car at a time. So you'd have to bring it to the dealer or tire shop each time you swap wheel sets to reprogram the new sensors ID's. OR, you could just get the ATEQ Quickset, and then re-program the car whenever you change wheels... it also reads the existing sensor id's, so all you have to do is add the new sensor ID's.. You can then store those, and just swap the 2 sets with ease for future swaps.

The procedure above (in the link you posted) is to activate the sensor if it's never been activated, or in "sleep mode".

In your case (2010 Sport) I don't think you have VSA so the only detriment would be the annoying little red light on the dash which you can cover with black tape (aside from not knowing if your tire(s) is less than ~26psi).
