thats not want I want to hear! LOL I actually wanted a manual but the car is for the misses and she only drives auto

anyway atleast the CVT has been around for ever and they havent seemed to have much trouble? got friends in first gen CVT fits that use them for flat towing other cars and all and no problem.

I like the idea of the DCT type autos more but they seem to have a lot more issues, new fit has already had a recall on them!! (although it was apparently only a software issue)

I took a long time deciding wheels for the fit, te37s are never going to look like that

the width and offset that can go on the fit are very thin and high, max with out camber or guard work is 17 7J +47 (front).

Advan are what I think looks best in those horrible sizes, the TE37s have a very flat non cave look in those sizes

edit...
te37 dont actually come in sizes that will fit, but to give you an idea.

17 7.5 +48

Speaking of which, has Honda said anyone about when they will debut the 2015 Honda Fit (North American model)? My guess right now is NAIAS in January 2014.

The 2015 Fit with the CVT is rated at 36 mpg on the U.S. EPA combined cycle test, according to Honda officials at a Tokyo media briefing in November 2013. That figure doesn't yet appear on the EPA website, but if confirmed, it would vault the new Fit to among the top of the subcompact class--ahead of competitors that include the Chevrolet Sonic, Hyundai Accent, Nissan Versa, and Toyota Yaris.

I thought maybe it would be previewed at the LA Auto Show this weekend but it doesn't look like it's the case

I will ask around at the Honda booth for an answer when I go this weekend

I think the current generation looks more streamlined and modern. The new one looks dated - like an old insight, which was a poor seller.
The fit is very round and tall, there isn't much aethetics in it. The proportions are that of an overweight mouse that is about to burst.

Those cut outs in the bumbers are hideous... style over function? Not even stylish to my taste.

The really good looking cars are made by renault, peugeot, seat, fiat. I just came back from europe and realized how many beautiful cars we are missing here. Alf Romeo is another looker.

looks are very subjective, while Im not about to defend the new fits image, those euro cars you have posted are some of the most hideous cars on the road LOL
