About your dyno pic and your words after, you said it runs really rich after 6000rpm that's why all the spikes, but the graph shows it only reaching like 5450rpm, what is the red line on the Note?

redline is 6500rpm, but it's a CVT so it's hard to get it to redline on a dyno machine from what i can gather...real world i can get it to redline no problem and i do feel a bit more pull up top then when it was stock, but as far as getting readings over 5500rpms i cant say for sure if it would be possible with this transmission

edit: the comment about running really rich after 6000rpm was made by the R&D guy at Injen, not myself

That's cool, I was sure hoping it didn't redline at 5500, if so, it better be a turbo diesel. And I know the Frenchies didn't do that to the Note.

lol, nah it's a pretty balanced engine...the only problem is Nissan choked the hell out of it from the factory to meet their MPG goals

CVT is why the graph looks weird. Torque is all over the place with infinite "gear ratios." I'm surprised they could get a plot at all.

i was just as surprised as you, but when i dropped it off to them to do the R&D work they assured me they had experience with dynoing cars with CVT transmissions. cant really say how they did it seeing as the CVT doesnt have a "gear" that is a 1:1 ratio but they were able to pull it off somehow

believe me, it's about 100 times busier over here then it in on the versa forums and thats not even a joke....most threads over there don't even pertain to the Note at all. i would say that all together there's probably around a dozen Note owners on that forums and i'm the only one modding mine lol

Time to toss on some lightweight rims and drop a bit of weight elsewhere and seriously embarass your fellow note owners lol.

Lots of people around me wonder why I mod my Fit, I assume you get teh same stuff.

Then they ask how the &@#% I ran a 16.6 quarter mile and still get 40+mpgs lol

all in due time, i'm set to go in to Tanabe for another round of test fitting on my Note come march or april...so far i have their strut tower bar and under body brace and that alone made a HUGE difference in handling. this next round of testing they are supposed to be trying out their medallion touring axleback exhaust and either springs or coilovers on my car so we shall see what happens, but at the moment i'm saving up for a nice leightweight set of rims so that will be taken care of soon enough as far as dropping weight though i went ahead and took out the spare on my car which gave me a free 30lbs drop in weight lol

I think it is a good looking car... I sat in an older versa and got right out with out even test driving it... All though I like my GD3 I was in the market for something that made economic sense. Used WRX and 93octane or a new GD3 sport 87 octane and 30+ mpg city. It was not a hard choice...

He gets that from me, I am always pushing him to mod the thing but he's trying to plan out his build. He knows I have no patience so it's a constant battle
