This is mellow and as loud as id go. in reality the intake will yield more sound in the cabin than any exhaust would. Especially at 6500rpm.

the whole cat back is $460. but the downpipe (test pipe) does look very good though for $140... thats enough for one but they usually fetch about 5hp from what ive heard so more than a brand name CAI for half the price lol.
Is a Header worth it on the fit? I read somewhere the the exhaust manifold on the L15 is like built onto the head or something weird like that?
I recently purchased a Megan Racing (MR) header and downpipe. Not a bad combo for some extra HP. I still have the stock mid pipe and axle back. Its so quiet with those on. I also have a AFE stage 2 intake. So far good upgrades. But there is a noticeable difference on quality to higher end products. Also the testing on companied like J's, Mugen, so on are far more superior then MR.
As far as bracing goes I chose Ultra Racing. Great quality but you have to modify some some parts. Front strut bar I drilled out the mounting holes to fit bigger bolts for extra strength. Rear strut bar was easy bolt in. C-pillar I removed my rear seat belts and used a spacer from the OE hardware to clear the roofing. Hit the track yesterday and noticed a huge difference.
On suspension I went with K-Sport since I have used them in the past and had good lick with them. I went with a customer spring rate of F12K, R10.8K.
My personal opinion to anyone fixing up a vehicle is to think of your goal. Speed, looks, both? this will help you avoid impulse and wasteful purchases. If your edgar to get out and have fun invest in your suspension and of faster parts first over looks. That way you can have your fun and make it look nicer later. Sometimes you will be surprised how making your track car look good doesn't fit the bill anymore.
Good luck on your build.

BTW the down pipe is better looking then the header. MR is currently out of the new style header that you e pictures of. They sent me the older header with no badge and the welds are nothing compared to the down pipe. For the money it was worth it for now. T1R discontinued there header. J's is hard to find. Unless you have some serious cash for Mugen or Spoon MR is more on point.
thanks rollerboots666 all helpful info. i dont want to do a whole lot for performance, just a bit to give it a little extra with hopefully a full exhaust and an intake. i went to tech for automotive so i know expensive noisemakers wont get you much. but the sounds makes it FEEL FASTER XD lol then a few cosmetic personal touches like i said and some suspension whatever i can do without lowering it a whole lot because i want to keep most of my ground clearance. all my old hondas i wanted to do stuff with where old and rusty and not worth the money in the end. So im excited looking forward into the future and trying to figure out all the thing i DONT want on it before i decide what to get.
Just keep in mind that it may not be worth it to do full cat-back. Ever wonder why the majority of exhausts were axle-back? I'd hypothesize that there wasn't any hp to be gained. Keep in mind that this is a small engine. Example, Most FIT intakes gain 6-8hp. For comparison, the intake for a Civic SI is 18-20hp. Okay now... the FIT at 8hp gain is 7%. The SI at 20hp gain is 10%. What i'm trying to say guys is to understand the gains it to use percentages instead of hp numbers. you cant expect a intake for a 1.5L to improve in gains like the Civic SI's 2.0L but what you can look at is percentage of the gains. If similar (7% for FIT, 10% for SI) then its a good part. My point then is this. I'm sure every company that did R&D for the FIT exhaust found that doing the full exhaust vs axle-back only yielded 1-2hp. Why would it be cost effective for a consumer to pay another 1 to 200 bux to gain another 1-2hp. It isn't for you the owner or for them the company.
FYI MEGAN Racing has a header for 169.00.

So for the price of a full cat-back, you could have header, down-pipe, & axle-back. Max b4 f/i one could probably make 130hp from 07-08 FIT w/ all of this plus a good CAI.
