Valet parking the Fit

I thought this was funny. We were staying at a hotel that valet parked all cars. I pulled up behind this Rolls Royce with my Fit. Needless to say, they moved my Fit pretty quickly and left the Rolls out front!

I can only assume the valets think the Fit is much more fun to drive than the Rolls Royce. At least for some kinds of driving, they'd be entirely correct, too.

Definitely more fun in the city and easier to park. Plus, I bet he worries less when driving a Fit compared to the Rolls or Ferrari that was there over the weekend.

Or maybe the RR wasn't there for valet parking?

Not sure, but the Rolls and the Ferrari were in front quite often all weekend. The Ferrari was driven around, but not sure about the Rolls. Both of these spots were non-parking valet spots.

they did something like that in a Top Gear movie. Tried to find out what kind of car you'd have to bring to not have the valets move it to the back since they're always trying to keep the best thing out front. They ended up driving a Ford Model T to the hotel and none of the valets could figure out how to move it so it stayed there overnight. diagram here if you're curious https://i.imgur.com/eHuyyzo.jpg

As a former valet I can say that it doesn't matter what kind of car you have as long as you can pay for a "top" spot. Sure, valet charge may be $5 but those who pay more get parked closer. A Rolls that pays $100 gets parked closer than the Rolls that only pays the minimum charge of $5. Crap, one time I moved a Mercedes to park a minivan in its spot because the guy driving the minivan paid more tha the cheapskate in the Mercedes.

I've had them park the Fit out front in Vegas before. Just because.

They had to move the Fit. The last thing the need is a bad ass Fit being hit by a POS Rolls.
