Orange only available as sport package? Worth it?

I guess it makes sense...but they only make the orange as a sport package? Is the 1,500 extra for the sport package worth it?
My understanding is you get paddle shifters, cruise control, spoiler and sporty body tweaks, the nicer audio, and aux audio jack. Performance wise, the two models are identical...
I'm torn right now between Orange, black, and Taffeta white. The nice thing about the orange is it's pretty unique, but aftermarket wise, there seems to be more you can do with a white one. It's just more versatile... Thoughts?
Are these being sold at high markup? (higher than msrp?) I guess it depends on the dealer, but I'm in the Dallas area and I heard they have to order them and you have to wait a month to get them...

Let's see, the Sport adds:
15" Alloy Wheels and wider tires
Security System with Remote Keyless Entry
Fog Lights
Body Colored Underbody Moldings
Body Colored Rear Spoiler
Illuminated Steering Wheel Mounted Cruise Control
Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel
Paddle Shifters (A/T Only)
Sports Mode Gear Indicator (A/T Only)
Improved Audio--6 speaker, 200 watt, MP3 capable, auxiliary input jack, and CD Text (in display)
YES, absolutely worth the price difference in my opinion (also resale to consider ... upon sale some portion of this price difference will be returned to you).

All colors are nice IMO, i say grab the next one available in any color.
I originally wanted the Storm Silver but got the Milano Red cause it was available. No regrets whatsoever. In fact, i think the Milano Red is the best color now.

The Orange Blaze Metallic seems to have more depth to it than similar colors I've seen on other cars. One of our Forum members took a beautiful photo of one with trees in the background and it certainly looked pretty. I have a Sport AT (Storm Silver) and I think you get a lot for the extra $$. I had to have cruise control and I like the upgraded audio and the steering wheel -- which doesn't get overheated even in our blazing summers. Though I don't always like the extra body cladding, on the Fit it...sorry...fits. And since there are so many freaking big vehicles on the roads in Florida, I appreciate the extra armor! Even though it's small, the Sport Fit stands out in a crowd.

Never thought I would like the orange, but it's definitely grown on me. It's between that and white for me. Wish it came in yellow! I would hate to buy it this year and then see it come in yellow for '08. But as for the topic at hand, I think the Sport is a tremendous value for what you get on top of the base model. If you plan on modding the hell out of it, then maybe the base model is the economically smart choice.

The orange is a bit odd in person, but I could see why people like it.
The only catch is if you plan to keep the car for a while, "trendy" colors become non-trendy fast. Belive me, I had a 1990s teal green car, all the rage 15+ years ago, now not so.
