Fuel cap message

Fuel cap message

I got this message "Check fuel cap", which i did and found nothing wrong with it but everytime i turn on the car got the same message. Does anyone know what can it be.

1.Make sure your fuel cap is tight. Screw it on until it clicks at least three times (owner's manual says at least once, IIRC, but give it a little extra)

2. drive the car. It may take several days for the message to go away.

This has been covered.

Locking Gas Caps

,,,anyone know where I can get a locking gas cap? Honda is supposed to have them but my local Honda dealer says they don't...

I had to show my dealer "the light", too!!

Part# 17680-SAA-G00

It is the same one that they sell for the Element. I have it on mine, and it works just fine.
