We've had the accessory belt on our '13 Fit replaced twice in the last six months under warranty, most recently in October. We've been keeping an eye on it, and I noticed a but of fraying across the belt. The edges look okay, and I was wondering if the fraying was possibly where the belt was seamed together. I don't know how belts are manufactured, but if they're made as a straight length, then the ends are put together, then this might make sense. Below are two pictures showing the little fibers sticking out.






Is this normal or should I keep a close eye on it?
