It was just a matter of time. Sometimes I can't park in a isolated spot in a parking lot or garage. When that happens I have to take my chances that the people opening their car door will be as careful as me when opening my door. Today as I approached my car in the driveway, I noticed the ding and tried to recall where it might have happened. And couldn't.

It is a very faint ding but nevertheless I see it in the reflection when the sun is shining on my 2015 EX Crystal Black Pearl. Why does black seem to accentuate every little thing? When I bought the car with 15K miles on it, there was a minor scrap in the lower rear quarter panel - you had to be looking for it. I remember thinking to myself, "I can live with this." But the ding is different.

So now once again, it is just a matter of time before the next ding and the next and the next. I hope someday soon I will not be as troubled as I am now. I won't be the guy that straddles over two parking spaces - that's just asking for trouble. I guess I should be thankful that it wasn't more serious like an errant shopping cart or even worse - a hit and run.

 

take it to a PDR place like dentwizard. they can push out the dent probably, depending on where the dent is and the condition of the dent.

i had zero dents on my 3yr old GE i bought new until over the weekend... got hailed on. LOL
better yet, my wife's one day old GK got hailed on too with many dents.

not that it would make you feel any better, but crap happens.

 

6+ here and no dings. We had hail the other day but it was small and no dents -)

 

No dings on my '09 yet! But then again, I am anal and give her special care.
