Changing air Filter 2016 Fit

Just bought my FIT and planning for future maintenance.

Looked at web and saw Gen 1 and Gen 2 filter change procedure.

Gen 3 throttle body looks different so I'm wondering if there are any issues that would make it better to let dealer change this filter. Especially concerned about wiring harnesses.

Thanks in advance.

Very easy to do and no need to take it into the dealership. The same for the cabin air filter.

Thanks.

Do you need to disconnect wiring connectors to throttle body as shown in the web videos for earlier generations?

I want to say it was only one electric connector and 4 clips. Then wiggle the plastic airbox out to expose the filter.

I don't recall any connectors in the way when I did mine. I just undid the 4 clips and removed the cover. Took all of about a minute.

You may not need to remove that connector on top, but I did just to get a little more clearance. Doesn't really much time to the process.

You should be able to handle the air filter and cabin filter. Take your time and don't lose any of the clips. Plink, plink, plink dropping to a deeps recess somewhere in the engine. How do I know this? Hmm...
