Just curious.... Anyone know when Honda plans to redesign the Fit?

 

I have not heard anything from any official sources, but I don't really go asking about stuff like this either.

Hondas model production runs (or generations) have typically (but not always) been 5 years, the current Fit was introduced in 2015 (but they completely skipped 2014)......

I'd GUESS 2021 would be the year for the next significant body change.

 

You might want to peruse Temple of VTEC from time to time. They have an informal relationship with Honda and provide hints, clues, rumors, unsubstantiated facts, and a matrix about upcoming releases of Honda and Acura models and their major model year changes.
Their Fit forum is not as active, but posters there like to speculate about this topic as well.
In line with Ezone's guess, the next full change could be as early as 2019 or as late as 2021.

Note: If you look at the threads about the possible changes to the JDM model, it provides fuel to wonder about what the other markets around the world will get.

 

The 3rd gen Fit actually DID come out as a '14 model, but only in Japan and other Asian markets.


Given the usual Honda procedures in the past, I expect a mid cycle "refresh" for the '18 model year, and the 4th Gen. Fit to come out in '20 as a '21 model.
