Better review from C/D over edmunds

I remember when edmunds did their short review, the only numbers they posted where prices.

Car and driver confirmed that it grips very well... .88g's, and that it has great steering response and turn in...but not so much that its worth the premium over the regular si.

it hit 0-60 in 6.8, which is .01 seconds slower than the last coupe they tested. and that coupe using the optional michelins gripped at .90 g's.

the exhaust sound is great, and the kit looks good, but it has been confirmed this is an exercise in aesthetics, considering that numbers like these can be very easily had for less money.

pasadena honda had it marked up 9K over sticker. salesman said theyll take 32k if someone serious was interested. i still think its a lot for a civic, especially what you can get for that price from competitors

the cheapest i've seen it was only 1k markup.

if it was selling for about 25k as the base price, then maybe i'd see the value in the thing, for the mugen-ness of it, but after that, it gets a little silly.

I bet if you shopped hard, you could get one for a little over that. I don't think they are selling well. And although I too think they are over priced a bit, I wish they were selling better. Because i'd like to see more special editions. How cool would a Mugen Fit be?

I was just at Courtesy Honda here in Lake Mary, FL they have one on the showroom... It looks pretty sick... I just don't like that it doesn't have Navi...There was a reg si next to it fully loaded navi and all for $25k...They want $30k for the Mugen. It does look sick though!

I can get a Mugen for $300 under invoice ($27,400). They have had the car for over 2 months and want to get rid of it. I am still debating on buying it.
