Petition for More Power

There's a petition up on change.org to go to Honda Motor Company for a higher trim of the Fit. I'd preorder a higher power Si or Type R right now if it was available. Who else would?

Ok, as much as I'd like to use this space for a joke about my less than stellar experience with VW, would you give me your opinion on whether their quality control has improved relative to the late 90s early 00s? Not to say Honda is better for any reason either, I hate just closing the door on future options.

And Nemo128, petitions won't do anything if Honda doesn't have a market analysis saying it won't hurt Civic sales. I'd love to have the Civic turbo motor in a Fit- I've already done shocks, springs, wider summer tires on lightweight wheels, which is the other side of what an Si should be, but even a full blown factory Type R will never be a halo car.

i dont know anything prior to the VW's i have because i hadnt even considered buying vw's until honda kept sucking on quality.

from my experience, my mexican GTI is very well assembled, absolutely no issues so far, and i drive my cars spiritedly. at this point VW > non-japan assembled hondas. as for my Golf-R made in germany, no issues at all, but my mexican GTI is better made.

I'm really trying to figure out why you're still here, as all you do is brag about how much better your VWs are than our Hondas.

I mean, I drove Chrysler products for many years, but I don't hang around Dodge forums so I can brag about how much better my Honda is.

huh? u think im bragging? just posting the truth from actual experience and insight to potential buyers and folks looking to change up to a real performance hatch.

just because you own or lease a fit does not mean it is the end of the world. switch it up to an actual performing hatch instead of wasting time trying to tell honda to up REAL power into these Fits cause it wont happen.

or how about a civic-R for u folks that like civics? one has to pay to play.
