I recently asked whether a 2013 Fit LX 5-door had a pouch behind the front passenger seat (https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gene...ml#post1398495). On one forum, a gentleman kindly responded yes, but that was for a different model. Due to the dearth of information about my model, I'd like to try a new strategy.

I think I can assume with some certainty that my car should have a pouch behind the front passenger seat if it turns out that all Honda Fits from 2010 onward have pouches behind the front passenger seat. On the other hand, if some such models don't have such a pouch, that tells me that I can't assume anything.

If you own/owned such a Honda Fit, or are familiar with them, can you please chime in with your information about this?

I have a 2011 Honda Fit, Base trim. It has a pouch on the back of the front passenger seat.

I did a cursory bit of looking on Edmunds.com for information.

If you scroll down approximately 3/7ths, under "Comfort & Convenience," there will be an item listed as "front seatback storage." It appears to be checked/available on all Fit trims. I do not know if the data is 100% accurate, nor if it applies across the border, but hopefully it sheds some light.

 

Thanks, marmaladedad. Your link does provide compelling info, but as you said, it's accuracy is unknown. It seems to contradict new testimony at the thread linked to by my original post. A respondent there has the exact same year and model that I have, and lives in my province, but his Fit doesn't have any seat back pouches.

Sigh.

I think what I will do is simply ask the folks who did the work on my car, and roll with their response, even if they are uncertain.

 

I saw that post in your other thread. I find it odd that an item so minor as a seatback pouch would be included in Fits built in one place yet not in another. But, I am not privy to Honda's supply chain. To be honest, I do not use it much at all. In my minivan those pouches get stretched out all the time from headphones, kids' books and toys, and miscellaneous food trash. But the Fit is mainly just for me and my bicycle (sometimes the dog).

Good luck with finding resolution with the car shop.
