How to fit kayak on Fit

Hello! I just joined, so my apologies if this isn't the correct place for this question.

I have a 14' kayak that I'd love to be able to transport on my 2013 Fit. I don't have bars on the roof, though, and it seems like most kayak racks for the Fit are made to attach to bars. Does anyone have roof bar recommendations?

Also, is there any other way to transport a 14' kayak in/on the Fit? I do have a hitch (installed that last year) and would love a trailer, except the only ones I've seen are expensive. I'll check CL and other used sites, but I feel like a roof rack will probably be the best.

Or are there other ways I haven't thought of?

Roof blocks. Made of foam to support a boat. Take a look at that? Fraction of price, more fiddly to secure.
