The j's racing strut bar is going in today (I'm at work and jumping out the the shop every 5 minutes to work on it) so that should be done by today.

other than that I'm pretty much done on this car, it's time to feed my boost hunger again (man I miss that EF)

Hey JDMish.. did you ever hit up the Secret Street? any times to report? Looks like I'll be going in early July.. my wheels and other parts are to arrive mid next week, but I'm leaving for vacation at the end of next week so the Civic vs. Fit match won't be til July!

 

Well.. I'll have my new shoes on by the time i get back from my vacation.. I'll probably be hitting up the secret street drags on a Friday night soon! possibly first week or 2 in July!

lol.. too much pressure! I feel like such an underdog in this race.. well i guess i would be. I want to get what ever I can to help out the Fit in the race which is why I was hoping we could get those test pipes, and I'm in talks with Unorthodox Racing about the crank pulley

 

lol, I sent them an e-mail too. They said it will be around 2 or 3 weeks yet.

I decided to going to go with the T1R pulley for my Fit when it comes out in Aug, I want the harmonic balancer. I know the engine is internally balanced, but the crank is still going to have some deflection in it.

 

Yeah the T1R will be a good option for a pulley with the harmonic balancer...mb I'll have to run against you

 

Sweet, we will be pretty evenly matched with our massive rims

 

lol we will be the slowest run there, but it would be quite fun

 

I just put on my new shoes today! 15x7 Enkei RPF1s with General Exclaim UHP 195/55VR15s.

I weighed the stock rims/tires and they came out to 37.8lbs per corner!

The new ones came in at 27.1lbs per corner!!!! I saved just over 10lbs per wheel!!!! I can totally notice the difference.. it rolls so much easier and handles super good! woot woot!

 

So when are we going to the track??

its supposed to be like +33 degrees this Friday! Too hot to run the cars i think... I'm gonna talk to my buddy this week and we'll set a date! I just bought the Megan Racing header from Toy Yoda, should get it in the next week or so.. that should help a bit too now!

Friday, JULY 27th!!! I think tech starts at 7:00 and the races start at around 7:30!

2006 Civic EX with an Injen CAI vs. 2007 Honda Fit Sport YeeFit Edition!

This will be a lot of fun.. even if I lose everytime.. I've got all the mods I wanted to get done with exception to the Lightweight Crank Pulley from AJR. Intake, Header, Axleback are my power mods.. and my -12lbs lighter per corner than stock Enkei RPF1s with good rubber and the Mugen SS are the others that may lend a hand in putting down the Fits big brother!

Come out to watch if you can! and bring vid cameras just incase the Fit does win!!!

If anything changes and either one of us can't race, then I'll let u guys know asap.
