WHAT?!?! Autocross is totally safer! All you'll hit are pylons lol!

Yeah I heard about Race City...that really sucks...

yeah I know but you try convincing her lol. Logic does not work.

I think Racecity closing down will generate new opportunities for a better track. I think it's time we catch up to Edmonton. If I had money to invest or knew some folks that could open a new track, I would be more than willing to invest some time in making this new project happen.

The only thing I am worried about is the potential downtime between Racecity closing and a new location opening.

I told her ok but my next project car will have at least 500whp and run low 11's high 10's
My 17's are heavier by about 4 to 5lbs than stock, but the 195/40 combo is very low profile and I find it really bites into the corners. I was able to pull hard corners at higher speeds that some of the other cars would spin out on. Weight is not a big deal for me right now, I am just having fun.

Autocross is a lot safer than drag racing, worst case is you run over a cone or something. There is potential to hit the outside of the track, but generally that can only happen to out of control "drifting" RWD cars. I would say if you are drag racing there is a potential to loose control because of the speeds you are hitting.

Your welcome to do some ride alongs with me, I actually found I could squeeze out better times when the car is more balanced.

Totally sucks that Race City is shutting down. I havn't heard anybody talking about setting up a new site for a track though. It might be a couple dry years.

Sugarphreak my apologies for completely sidetracking this thread but my hatred for Rich and the simple hilarity of JDMish running slick on a 90whp car got to me
