Too Cool

Just registered for Too cool motorcycle school. I'm pretty pumped. might even be able to buy a bike this summer! (or at least pick up a used one to bag on)

in class stuff is in the beginning of June, but the riding isn't until the 20th or so. the sweet part is they have most styles of bikes for riding so you can really choose what you like.

That is pretty sweet! Are you looking more at cruisers or superbikes mostly?

I don't ride myself, but I think given the choice I would pick something in between, maybe along the lines of Ducati Monster.

I'm leaning towards a cruiser right now, (I'd probably just kill myself on a sport bike)but who knows after the course. I really want a suzuki M50 right now, or maybe a sportster 883.

Finished the course! best learning experience i ever had. instructors are great, and teach more than just riding. they really get into the responsibilities of owning a bike.

Wicked selection of bikes to ride:
ninja250
suzuki 250 marauder
kawi 125 eliminator
a few different dual sport bikes, one a suzuki 400
and i didn't notice until after our road ride that they brought out a suzuki gs500

I want a bike soo bad now. looking at suzuki svx650 now... but i got laid off

Did u pass your licence test? I had a friend who went to their course. I opted to go the quick route and went with 'A' driving school for mine since I already had been riding dirt bikes for years.

svx650s are nice bikes.. i went with a zx636 ninja. topped it out at 286km/h twice. I have since then sold it to buy my house lol. it was fun tho, but bikes in calgary are kinda *** IMO.. you get clean roads (no gravel) to ride on for about 8 weeks out of the year and thats not to mention the rain etc.

Congrats on getting started the right way! I took a similar class and then rode a Ninja 250 for a year, upgraded to an SV650S later but now I'm selling her...too bad you aren't closer, I'd hook ya up!
