What to Do?!
I really want a Fit, but I really like my current car and I want to get a motorcycle soon, but I can only afford either motorcycle or car. Which do yall think I should get?
PS Bike is a Suzuki SV 650. Would get Yosh slip-on if i bought.
Super PS Car is 97 Dodge Avenger ES V6 if kept will get a Bosal exhaust, Cold Air Intake, and tint.

Have you thought about how long the riding season is in your state or about the condition of your Avenger? If the Avenger is running strong and has not given you any or much of a problem I would keep it and pick up a bike, as long as the riding season is fairly long. If your car is full of quirks and might croke at any moment, get a Fit.

Buy a Fit, invest on in a sub $2000 motorcycle on Craigslist. That way you get the best of both worlds. I assume it's your first bike, and you're not going to want to get a brand new one. $2000 bike... DROP! Ouch, oh well. $8000 brand new bike. DROP! Ouch, that's gonna hurt for awhile and you'll regret buying a brand new first bike. Plus, insurance on a brand new bike is going to be a lot higher.
My first bike was a 93 Ninja ZX6E. Picked it up for $1600 and insurance was $30/month. Rode for 6 months, did a DIY paint job, dropped it once, and sold it for $1800.
If you do decide to get a brand new bike instead of a Fit, 2008 GSXR 600 is my vote

You don't aspect coming here on a Fit forum and want us to vote for anything else than the Fit?
Ofcourse, the Fit (or Jazz) is loads of fun to drive so no need for a motorbike. AND it can be a hauler if you need any when moving around and it is nice if you are a studend. AND it almost does not use fuel at all, that is especially nice in these high fuel price times.
So I voted for the Fit

I forgot to mention that the Avenger is in good running condition body is only slightly rusty which is impressive for a car that's lived that 11 years of WI winters, also she (Avenger is named Laverne, don't know why i chose that name) is getting 25 mpg in town, impressive for a V6 with a 4 speed auto. Also the trunk is decently sized and for a 2 door coupe the rear seat is huge (I am 6 feet tall and can sit behind my 6 foot three dad comfortably). Plus the Avenger drives nicely, as it is really just an extended Mitsubishi Eclipse, with the Galant's V6, even was manufactured by Mitsu of America, has DSM verification all over.

The FIT is your best choice!
A V6? what's that noise...glug glug glug... gas slurping?
I just bought my FIT. sold my Kaw750 and my Jeep. I live on a steep-long-curve filled rural road and with my FIT I take the curves much faster than I ever did on my bike or my Jeep. Life is good, the commute to work is more fun than ever and my insurance is almost half what I paid before.
No contest "Git the FIT".But keep the Motorcycle license so you can rent a bike on vacation...that will feed your 2-wheel fever.

This is what Avenger sounds like with Bosal
YouTube - Bosal catback for V6 Sebring or Avenger
This is SV 650 with Yosh
YouTube - SV650 Yoshimura TRS Exhaust (Silencer OUT)
Just thought both were pretty sweet.

I will try to avoid riding in rain at the beginning, but once I get acquainted with the bike I will eventually ride in the rain occasionally, as for the snow I will continue to use my car, and once my Zuma (named Orenthal) isn't so new (it's an 08) I will eventually ride that in light snow especially in college.
Remember this is all hypothetical have not decided one way or the other.

Dude you are out of your mind if you are going to ride your bike in the snow. I have 2 friends that did that. (They were not the balls to the wall type of people, just took it easy got from point A to point B type people.) Nasty accident and now both are braindead. Because some ass didnt stop in time in the snow and hit my one friend and the other ended up dropping his bike and sliding into the end of the cars bumper and almost took his head off. Bikes are not safe. If you get the fit atleast if you get into an accident its metal and plastic breaking and not your bones. Just think it out before yo buy the bike I bought mine right before that happened. I sold it as fast as i could after that.

I would never ride a motorcycle in the snow, i was saying i would ride the zuma in the snow but after thinking about it i won't because i am probably going to sell it, (for about 2000 bucks) and as far as safety goes I feel safer in my Avenger than I probably would in the Fit after seeing how bad the Fit is damaged after slow speed impacts it worries me, what are they rated crashwise, my Avenger is 5 stars.
PS: Motorcycles are dangerous, but its the riders and CARS not looking out for motorcycles because they think they own the road that are way more dangerous. Plus in one way or another everything is a little dangerous, even eating delicious pudding.
