Today, I received a letter from Honda Canada informing that a software update is now available to correct the "slightly" earlier than normal deployment of the airbags.

Has anyone brought in their FiT to the dealer for this campaign yet? How long did it take?

 

i got that same letter too... jus dis mornin, i called for appointment right away and will get done next week... hope its not that big of a deal

 

I recieved mine this morning, and I called the dealer they will be doing the work this saturday (they said it will take 45 min)

 

I got mine in the mail this morning as well.

Haven't made the call yet as I need to schedule some time off work to do this.

 

Need to bring mine in too, I'm sure it wouldn't take long.

 

People in the States got this notice earlier. I did not receive my letter this morning. I bought end of Jan 2007. I'm assuming it's still in the same lot as everybody else's though. Maybe it's just my dealer. I bought my car in to get the hood latch looked at and the service manager just looked at it and said it looked fine to him. Hmmm.....

I got my car in mid-april 06.....only thing wrong with my letter was that it was addressed to 'Mrs'...

 

i got my Fit last November... car looks fine when i picked it up except for the childlock but it was fixed the next week,and couple weeks after some stupid guy or lady or something gave me a door ding on my passenger side ... now Im carefull all the time and park very far just to avoid another door ding

Then I guess it's just my dealer that hasn't received the go-ahead or info yet. They are in Vancouver, BC. Or maybe it's because I've got a DX?
