how many km are you getting a tank?

I'm noticing better mileage, andi 'm just hitting around 3500km... haven't had my first oil change yet, though. But the milage has been improving every tank. My last tank was like 409km . I guess it's finally really getting broken in. ^_^

Recently, I've been averaging about 7 litres per 100/km. That's city and highway combined. It's MUCH better on the highway and it's also improved a fair amount since when I bought it last June. I currently have about 8,500km on it and since we've been coming out of the colder winter temps, every tank has been better. I suspect it will be even better ones the temps get even warmer

How'd you all get so many kms per tank???
Wow, I must be doing something wrong. The only time I've ever had a full tank of gas was when I first bought the car. I believe even then I only got 400 kms (I've got an auto). From then on, I put $30 of regular in (sorry, I'm on a strict budget) and that barely gets me like 297 kms before the light goes on.

got a bad habit of holding my gears. So just for fun once last month, I decided to shift "properly" and see what my fuel consumption can be.
Anyways, filled up the tank, then started the experiment. I got around 512km before the fuel light went on. So I went into a gas station, filled up again, and the car only took about 32L of fuel. So I could have easily got another 100km at least out of the tank since our tanks are supposed to be 41L capacity. And all this was STRICTLY city driving.
now back to my "normal" driving, my current average is around 480km or so before the light goes on. and that's usually using about 32-34 litres of fuel. As I posted in this thread previously, my average was below 400km before the fuel light prior to the first oil change. So that will help a lot if you're a new owner.
btw, for those who don't know me, I drive a 5-speed, non-sport with 14" steelies (aka heavies).

First time I ever actually filled up tank
Hi,
I've had my Fit for 1 1/2 years now and never actually filled it up. However, I had to go to Chilliwack so decided I'd better have enough gas so added to the gas already in tank until the pump stopped. The light still haven't come on yet and I think I'm at 510 kms. I only drive in the City and found that the gas mileage was much better on the highway. I have auto transmission and my model doesn't have air-con.

I'm getting 350km on average now after 1300kms. I'm noticing every tank is progressively getting better as well. Hoping I get the good mileage soon or after first oil change.
I'm mostly driving city in Vancouver.
