Hello, can someone tell me if the 08' LX model had the dimming dome light function ??

My dome light won't dim It just goes either on or off .

 

try a search on that one, I believe someone had the same problem ((?)?) recently. From the same area I think.

 

There's been talk in a few places on this forum ... seems base model dome lights only turn on and off ... sport models have the delay stuff ... look in DIY repair ... there are some posts there recently ... I didn't pay any attention to the dome light when I bought my '07 LX ... my old car was a '90 Tercel ... so comparatively I was thrilled with the bells and whistles I did get ... of course it is a little disconcerting when you read the owner's manual and it tells you that your dome light will fade ... was a little worried that there was something wrong with my car's wiring ... doesn't seem to be the case here ... just a very annoying error in the manual.
