Wheel Fitments

Okay guys. so i have done all my research, homework and basically everything i need to know about my suspensions and wheel fitment but there are a couple things i cannot seem to get answered. I would like a wider width for my new set of wheels but the thing is. it seems everyone is using like 15X7 or 16X7. whats the MAX i can go and the MAX offset i can use? id like to lower my car but not just for looks but for handling as well but id like my stance to be pretty clean. Thats where im stuck at. can i find something that fits both my needs or can i only pick one way? id really like fatter wheels and a ncie fitment but id like to eliminate my roll. without RUBBING, or CARVING of anykind. think anyone can help me?

Thanks alot.

Corey

Is your question about a GD3 or GE8? I only know about the GD3...

if your goal is to have no issues with rubbing and all that, then you really shouldn't be looking at anything wider than a 7 incher, and probably no bigger than 17 inches. if your plan is to MAX out all that you can, u r guaranteed to have problems.
there's so much more to that issue, such as wut kind of suspension setup, tire profile, are you rolling fenders, camber, etc.
of course you can shove a 18x9 rim in there somehow, but is it practical is the question.

I figured with my current setup. ( t1r springs) , the best i can do is like a 15 x 7-8. With like 205/?/15. What should be the profile?

15x7 +43 with a 205/50 or shorter sidewall and a 1.5" drop all around.

Sorry, don't mean to jack your thread, but I'm looking at some 16" x 7.5 rims - anybody running 7.5 or see any potential issues with running them?

Should be no problem as long as offset between 30-40.
