Scotty's or Island brake and alignment in Harbor Square.

Scotty's 455-4488
Island Brake and Alignment 488-6521 ask for Derrick

PS if you want IB&A has camber bolts and rear camber disks to boot. Ask to be aligned with you in the car.

Tires at Tire Rack. Island just charged me 83 but, it was my second time in couple months. tell em the scca guys sent you..........

Lex Brodies got lifetime alignment with tire purchase but tires are expensive as sh*t. You can tell em you want the tires from Tire Rack they charge 5% over price and shipping I think that's a little cheaper than 83 buck I don't know...... depends on the tires I guess. But, no special alignment and I think they might void the tire warranty because your rear toe might be just in the red.

i guess i'll be giving them a call tomorrow. . . . . might as well run the STOCk tires till they're dead and then worry about getting new tires. we'll see . . . . thanks for all the feedback.

I suggest NOT sitting in the car for the allignment...I put in 4 each 50-lbs bags of water softener salt in the seat instead. I got to use the salt later...

Also, the dealer here in Cincinnati ( I know, real close for you guys on the Island) gave me a performance wheel alignment for the price of a regular wheel alignment. I got to specify the settings...what a difference!

i got mine done at scotty's for 80 cuz i asked a specific alignment. -1.5 degree camber in the front. also got it done there because of word of mouth, heard nothing but good stuff, the guy was cool.

id say, keep the tires, im sure they still have a lot of life in it. mine is still pretty decent. and save yourself $300+ for now.

are you gonna get recon too?

FIRESTONE.
yes/no.

depends. i remember when i first brought my g35 in (aiea)...it was lowered on stech coils...they put wood planks to make it up the alignment rack. second time...they said couldn't do it. i told them they planked the rack before to get my car on...they said they don't do that and i should try the kaneohe one cuz there rack is lower. kaneohe said no can. they don't do modified cars. so i was stuck with lifetime alignment for nothing. ...oh,

BTW: the fine print says lifetime alignment for original tires. as soon as u change tires....no warranty.

beangrower: Good to know that about firestone. Not sure if they'd need to plank the rack cause I've got GFs on stock wheels/tires. . . I guess I'll just kill the stock tires while I decide where to go.

kingsize: Will definitely try to see how much life I can get outta the stock tires. The fun will have to wait. As far as recon goes. . . . . Let's start a poll, how many of you guys have recon?

good answer cuz i didnt have one lol

they never mention to me about the tires, and they said modded car depends how low.

they also will not do custom alignments that are out of factory spec (for the autoxers)
