Sorry to hear about your hit and run. You can now join the club because it has happened to a lot of us. That was major and it is hard to believe someone doing that and just driving away. Keep your eyes peeled for front or end damage and white paint on that car! I had the passenger side mirror left by the person who hit and ran on my Ranger but of course the police never found them. Hope you get it restored ASAP and a carbon fiber hood would look sweet on your Fit.

i think that would be tight... but where were you planning on getting one? I've seen some on ebay and I know that shipping is expensive.

yah i seen the ebay ones too... i think kitworkxs here in hawaii (however its spelt) is supposed to bring in hoods at a reasonable price i heard...

although i do have a SHIPTOHAWAII account... so idk.

ONLY thing im worried about is CF hoods don't last very long... something like... 5 years and den they fade and crack. so it's kinda a waste of money right?

CF can last a long time if taken care of. Just make sure you wax it regularly as there's a clear coat on it. Sorry to see about your Fit.
Had a hit and run before so I know how you feel.

yeah theyre hard to straighten out, they are made to crumple and crease.. for a lil bit more money than all the labor you can buy a new hood and guaranteed its good

Whoa! Sorry to hear about the hit-n-run. I don't recall seeing any Fits in Hawaii w/ a CF hood. It would look better on your car (than most) esp. w/ your blacked-out head lights, black rims and black badge. Hope you get a good deal which every way you go.
