So someone backed in to my new Fit!

It creased the door and fender a little bit. My insurance deductable is $500 so not sure if I can get it fixed under that. It was a hit and run.

yeah, same here. hard to tell from that picture, but I will post more when I can. I am home sick today with the flu and wanted to go to the body shop to get estimates.

Got my 5% tint on though!

If it was a hit and run, there may be a different deal with your insurance. Deductables are usually a little less for "uninsured driver" type accidents. If you report the incident to police and give your insurance company a copy of the police report, you may have a lower deductable to work with. With my policy at Allstate, the uninsured driver deductable was 200 dollars. Good luck and sorry about your car!

That bites. I know how you feel, my integra was victim of a hit and run on the door on two separate occasions.

well i would say take it to a body shop and get a quick estimate. Then see how much it would be compared to your deductible.

Boy what a crime. I am angry thinking about it. If I ever see that kind of thing happen I will try my best to not let that situation happen.

Thumbs down

your deductable is probobly less for "uninsured motorist" if you are really cool with your insurance agent maybe you have them claim it under vandalisim, which should be around $50 deductable
