dear honda dealer person,at waht point do you recive the vin # from the factory??? could you explain the process from build to delivery??? p.s. I am looking for a fit sport auto in blue or orange....

 

We get the VIN when the car is assembled. From that point, it can be 5-8 weeks for delivery.

so I got the vin today 2/9/07 the dealer told me the orignal expected delivery date was 2/14/07 but after giving me the vin on the 9th they said they needed to add aprox 8 more days putting delivery at 2/22/07.
so to all you nice dealer persons does this make any since to you or is this just the classic waiting game???? any coments?

 

Probably what happened is the dealer expected the car sooner, but the car was held up in transportation (happens all the time). They tell you 8 days, then call you in 4 and they look like heros.
