Awesome! Did you have to add anything to it or was it just a matter of attaching it differently? I wonder if I can get the guys at the dealership to do something like this for me. Plus that looks like it helps with the whole rocks in the condenser thing.

I saw my baby tonight!! When I went to the dealer to get the VIN number and go over all the accessories I refused to buy for such ridiculously inflated prices, I asked again to make sure that they hadn't put a front license plate bracket on since I didn't want anything drilled right through the front bumper as I've heard happens when they put it on. Well my sales guy called someone and asked about it, since it had come from the other dealership just this afternoon and he hadn't seen it. Well, they said the front plate bracket was on!

I was upset and then my sales guy kind of looked left and right and then, since he was about to leave anyway (he was all bundled up for the cold lol) he said "Where are you parked? Ok look for a Honda Pilot and then follow me, we can go take a look at if it's damaged or not."

And so I followed his car about 5/6 blocks away to some unmarked white building with a garage door in the side. He beeped at the door and flashed his lights and they opened it and we went in. Apparently this was the place where they do the whole pre-pickup unwrapping of all their cars. The inner sanctum!!

And there was my baby all wrapped in plastic! And there on the front bumper was the bracket I didn't want. But, on further examination, no one had drilled through the front! They put it on from underneath the lip and didn't take the easy way out, so no damage to my bumper, no need for me to relocate the plate (Even if I think it looks cool. At least now I can get it done whenever and not OMG RIGHT AWAY BEFORE I GET A TICKET!)

YAY! I wanted to take her home right then but she needs her alarm and remote starter first. I pick her up on saturday! Whee! I'm so excited. I was jumping up and down around my car and I even pet it. LOL

I don't know if I can make it. :/ I have to take my little brother to his doctor's appointments Sunday; he just got out of surgery two weeks ago so he kind of has to follow up on a regular schedule.

But maybe next time! Plus it'll give me a little time to fancy my car up at least a tiny bit. I think I'd feel a little plain around everyone else's modded cars! lol

LOL I am such a total n00b. Not only to the Fit but to a new car in general! The newest one I had was my 97 Cavalier when I got it in 2002.

don't say I didn't warn you but get yourself a neck brace because you will be doing a lot of looking back on your new Fit when you are walking away from him/her. Don't want to get a whiplash.

My old car is currently sitting in my driveway because I'm debating whether to try to repair it to keep it as a beater or not. I'm thinking it's not worth it; the fuel lines rusted and busted and if you turn it on it pees gasoline everywhere. I had my mechanic look and he said it wasn't worth it but I have one other friend who runs a shop and I'll see if he'll do me a favor on it. If it's under a certain amount it'd be worth it, but I doubt it can be done really. With the way that thing had been acting up for the last 6 months, I'm kind of mad at it and I don't think I'll mind seeing it go lolol

Edit: Pfft, go ahead and make that clear after I was done talking about my old car! LOL. Oh I'm going to be staring at my Fit 24/7 for the next little while. I'm already all concerned about how to wash it and I hate that it's snowing again. I don't want salt near my baby! lol
