When I was a freshman in high school, we were somewhat respectful of the seniors and those above us. When I was a senior, I saw no respect. I don't have a clue what happened there.

No longer at the bottom rung in college! Yay! Though, I still look like I'm in high school so most people around here will probably assume I'm a freshman when they see me. I boo that.

Senior year FTMFW... or FTL? Three days have passed and it has been a hell of a bumpy ride.
First day, arrived at school at 7 A.M. (me=frickin' nerd ) Caught up with a bunch of friends and handfuls of people in other classes. I only have 4 classes and all of which are incredibly easy. Art, English 4, Government, and Welding 2 for 3 periods straight.

Second day was absolutely shitty. Found out that one of my comrades had died and that pretty much screwed the mood for everyone that day. (May they rest in peace and never be forgotten) The third day was bland. Everyone and everything was dull and nothing was going on.

I hope those who have started school and those who are starting soon will have a better beginning than this.

Come on bro, the teacher can't honestly be that bad. What, are they like uber strict or something?

she's not strict, she's just such a bitch.
like, you have no idea.
she says "this class is to fill in all the gaps that you don't remember from algebra 1 and 2"
so we're doing something and i said "i don't remember this?"
and she freaks out on me.
bitching at me telling me it's algebra 1 stuff
i'm like "EXACTLY! that was 2 years ago"
she said "things don't just leave your brain"
so i said "bullshit" (quietly)
so she's all mad and she's like "what'd you say?!"
i was just like "nothing"

so after class i went to the counselor to get changed out of the class and she won't let me

Strange, that sounds like a case of her needing to get laid and if that conversation when down exactly like you typed, she so contradicted herself. So was it the councilor that wouldn't let you change classes or the teacher?

yeah she's not the type of lady that gets laid a lot

it's the counselor.
i'm sure EVERYONE went in there trying to get out of that class
i know like 5 people in my class that did.
no ones getting out
i just have to try to stay out of trouble.
i usually only get a referral like twice a year though.

Wow lol. It was like the same thing for me. The teacher is ok, but i had a diagnostic test which i thought didn't count for a grade, and like half of it was algebra one from 7th grade like 3 years ago and i forgot everything and got 35 out of 75. And now i have 0.00 gpa in his class. I wanna kill myself. j/k but half the stuff he is teaching us i dont remember and i am screwed. Next year is gonna rock cause me no gots to take no stoopid math or science class.

Yeah, thats only cause i already took those classes. I am like uber smart so i took algebra and earth/space science in 7th grade vs 9th grade as i should have. Instead of high school courses, its college courses. So, yea its like half the day at high school and the other half at college. Its kinda cool.

I found out today that if I take just one more semester of math than is required for my Mechanical Engineering major, then I'll have a minor in Math!

Should I go for it? =P

Lol, I spent 20 years for kindergarten through grad school, so if you take that route you are about half way there!

LOL, is it really that bad going back to school? I've worked for years and I am about to go back to school to finish off my degree.

Honestly speaking, I rather go to school than going to work. To point out the least, students get vacations after a 12 week semester AND can skip class whenever they want (I aint saying you should =P)

Try skip work or ask for a vacation over 15 days... chances are you prolly dun need to go back to work for a while =\
