Unfortunately it was the first time i ever hit an animal on the road

it was a rabbit....
i already felt bad enough about it

but then when i get home my wife fabs up a pic and puts it on my myspace

 

It happens...

 

yep soemtimes animals run out in front of you .. i know it bothers u for while but you have to try to not think bout it

 

I ran over a family of ducks on the highway before...

 

somehow i hit a humming bird on the way home from piicking my son up from school. i still feel bad, that was like 4 months ago

 

I've never heard of anyone hitting a hummingbird o_O

 

Sorry you had to experience this but it happens and especially with wild little things that scurry. Just know
it was quick and most likely immediate, so it did not suffer.

I hit an owl this summer, driving on the highway in the middle of the night. Out of no where a thump on the windshield, a clump of feathers stuck to the blood spot. Bothered my wife more than me, I was too busy cleaning out my pants. Heartless perhaps when I turned on the wipers and squirted the windshield washer jets. Hit a sparrow once too, in my 1985 5 series BMW, right on the grill. There the body was waiting on the bumper area when I pulled over for gas 400km later. Ich!

not long ago I ran over a possum. It was a fat one and i went BUHBUMP with the left tires ;/ I freaked out for 30 seconds after that, hoping not to smell death or have a flat tire. That shit sucks. I didn't aim for it though.

i tried to avoid it
it was in the middle of the road and i moved more right in my lane to kinda scare him across the rest of the road and at the last second he ran back into my lane too late to avoid it

it sounded gross though
like i ran over a bunch of marbles
