I don't have pics accessible, but I had an 88 si that I bought new and 89 si with a GSR swap that I did in 1999. The later ran like a SCALDED APE. I had to sell the car due to a serious illness at the time. I never could understand why Honda didn't revisit doing a CRX. They were fun to drive, more so than the Fit from what I remember.

haha nice i know the Fit is the closes to the CRX like everyone said the Fit is like the new CRX =) if you have the chance to get a CRX GET IT!!!! =)
No CRX for me, but i used to rock an Isuzu I-Mark 1.5L Turbo w/ factory Lotus tuned suspension... similar feeling to the Fit but it was WAAAYYY lighter and had more horse power, but oddly enough less torque.
A lot of people speculate that it was the original Impreza, while mine was a FWD there was an AWD verson of it in it's final year. Shortly after GM shut them down most of the engineers went to Subaru and the first gen Impreza was born a year later... with the same wheel and body dimensions.
It probably out-CRX'd the CRX, lol
