Top Gear America

Just wondering what everybodys thought is on the new season. I think they got a long way to go before catching up to British TG. Tanner is a good host and so is the fat guy. I think they really need to replace the new yorker he seems to bring nothing to the table. On a good note BBC top gear has a new season airing the 22nd!!!!!!!!!

When I watch this show, I can't help but to think it's mainly produced to be entertaining "back home" where it could probably get the same ratings on the BBC as the original show. It's like their Jersey Shore for cars to a small degree.

It's getting better. Last nights show was pretty good. I call it the Tanner Foust show, because he's the one I pay attention to. Rutledge is amusing & Adam Ferrara just seems like he's trying too hard. Looking forward to the new BBC episodes.

I really liked last season. This season I have been disappointed with. Looks like this season they are trying to focus on getting a new audience interested (truck guys). Hopefully the remainder of this season is good.

What? Are you saying TG US would enjoy the same success abroad as TG UK? EL OH EL

Ya adam ferrera doesn't look right in his roll. Tanner and rutledge are doing decent job. I think they delay og top gear on bbc america to give US top gear a chance to get some steam behind it before may, jezzer, and hammond take it all.

Yea it looks like they are trying to appeal to the stereotypically american audience

I thought the show was terrible at first. But, it generally has been improving to watchable status. Never seen Ferrera before, but he's the weakest link to me.

Most probably already know this, but fwiw, finalgear.com has UK & US Top Gear ( and Fifth Gear) torrents, including this season's first six BBC shows.

Its going to take time for them to find their grove and build chemistry between each host, but I think they will get there.

Paul Tracy and Tanner used to have a show and I think Paul should replace Adam Ferrera because Tanner and Paul already have a good chemistry. Although I think Paul might be the american Stig.

and rogue. thanks for the info i wasnt aware of finalgear
