Dude, that was only my 3rd run in the S2k. I'm still setting it up.

 

you guys are hauling ass lol. It's a hard course to figure out and memorize. I just went with the Pinto since it was the cheapest car available

 

I'd recommend an EK9 (96-00 Civic Type R), my best time with mine is like 0.1 seconds off my Miata time and that's all during battles with my friends. I could probably get in the low 3:50's with that car on a more serious run.

 

Hmm.... I was going to run my 22B or my Miura... Might have to get serious!

Let's see it. I may get on tonight and do a few more runs with the AP1. Other than the flywheel, the engine is stock and I'm running CR sized tires for the first session... Might be changing that up since I had WAY too much rear grip and the car didn't rotate like I want to while on the throttle.

How about all of us using the same completely stock car on Tsukuba? Something A or S class would be ok

 

^^ I kinda like that idea though I would prefer to have more of a stock "Era/Class Spec" race.

I.E. B-Spec only (GE8, Mazda 2, Kia Rio, R56 non-S [MINI Just-a-Cooper], Chevy Spark, Ford Fiesta, Toyota Yaris, Nissan Versa, etc. or Early to Mid-90's Pacific Muscle (Japanese sports cars) like the FD RX-7s, MKIV Supras, NA1 NSX/NSX-R, R32/R33 GT-Rs, EVO 3 or EVO 4, 3000GT VR-4 (or Stealth RT/TT AWD :P), Eclipse GSX/Talon TSI AWD, etc. so long as it is BONE STOCK (including wheels).

This would still give us a same kind of "class" if you will depending on the vehicle's year model and trim level range. Someone would have to list what models can/cannot be used though. :/

 

That would be cool too. I are down for whatever!
