Flat Tire

Look at this madness!!!!

I was driving home and felt a "thump!", pulled over and heard a hissing sound coming from the rear passenger wheel and found this!! It's some sort of 1" thick metal that decided to stick itself into my tire.

Just had to vent!

That's not a repair, sirgolf - it's definitely a "replace."

I could not repair the tire so I went ahead and bought a set of Rota Circuit 10's in white and some Skunk 2 lowering springs. Here is the outcome.....

I heard our stock tires blows chunks and accounts for the noisy drive. Anyone experience an improvement when swapping out to different brand tires?

I'm currently riding on Falken Ziex tires 155/50/15 and they are fine, the ride seems to be a bit smoother as well.

I woke up to flat tire this morning

Went out to garage and front driver's side tire is flat.

250 miles on it, picked up my Base MT on June 25.

Going to look into tire warranty at Goodyear. I have no idea what caused the flat.

I was hearing a tick-tick-tick-tick sound coming from my Fit when I was driving the other day. My fiancee said it was nothing: she heard my car do it before, her car does it, her dad's car does it, it's just something echoing from the road. Well I checked it out and found a bolt embedded in the rear-driver's-side tire. I have no idea how long it is, but it's sealed in there and I'm not losing any air pressure (I've checked it twice so far). I hope it won't cost too much to repair, it's only got 3000 miles on it!

My flat was caused by some puncture in center of tread. Still have no idea what I rode over, nothing left in tire.

Goodyear repaired it for $32
