2015 Honda Fit Issues
Hey all!! My Fit has been acting weird for about 2 months now. After it’s been sitting for a while, overnight or when I’m at work, when I’m first starting out it almost sputters if that makes sense. I thought it was the gas, but I’ve filled it up from different places since it started. I took it to Honda, and of course they couldn’t recreate it. It’s like it’s going to die, but not that extreme. It’s kinda hard to explain. Any ideas would help!

Its the sports model automatic with the paddles. Has 31k miles and yes with regular maintenance. When I took it to Honda I made the suggestion to change the spark plugs, but he said he didn’t think it was necessary. It is the original battery and it was tested. I don’t let it warm up cause this even happens on 80 degrees days. Thank you for replying.

Does it consistently do this after sitting all night?
My only advice would be to either drop it off at the dealership and let it sit there all night, so they could actually witness the behavior. And/Or of course taking some video of the happening to actually show the service department.
Otherwise of course every time you drive it to them, it's going to be warmed up and NOT displaying the symptoms you have.

Looks like it's another instance of VTC noise, or could also be the TSB released for faulty injectors for the 15/16 model years. OP, just wait for the check engine light to come on and then the dealer can replace injectors under warranty after figuring out it's not the sparks nor the coils.
Also, did you check your VIN for any recalls for your fit?
Lastly ... take some videos of how the car starts ... so you have something to show us.
