Wet Roads are Dangerous Roads

Everyone knows that driving on wet roads is more dangerous than driving on dry roads, and a report confirms this. It's worse than I suspected, though. The risk of a fatal crash increases by 34% when the roads are wet. Be careful out there. You may be driving near me. :)

Yeah for sure. Same with snowy roads, much less safe if also wet vs dry. Nighttime + rain is my least favorite: sometime around 35 I began to realize my eyes are no longer 16 years old LOL. I actively plan to try and avoid nighttime driving when I can (not an issue on daily train commute, so this just means when traveling which also adds unfamiliar roads...(

Years ago, we were driving to NH on a rainy Friday night. Traffic was packed together on a two-lane Interstate going over 70 MPH. It was ridiculous. Any collision would have involved dozens of cars.
