I need a new key and finding it difficult to get. It's not like back in the day where you could almost go anywhere for 1. Can someone kindly tell me how much $ and where? I would be so grateful. 😊

 

A mobile locksmith was able to get me setup and running. It was close to $125, all said and done. This was on my GE - I assume the process is just as simple on the GD, but possibly more difficult on the GK (with keyless start).

 

Whoever you decide on doing this, make sure the key is durable. I went to a legit brick and mortar shop and spent a little over $100 for a working replacement. It lasted for about a year till after dropping it and stuff, it broke into many pieces. I'll see if I can use the inners and get a working key again. Not giving much hope in that.
