Honda Audio Help
I installed a new set of speakers tonight. they worked fine until I was
pounding the grilles back on - now no sound ay all, even though the fuses
(1 under dash, and 1 under hood) are good, and the faceplate is
illuminated - no sound to any of the four speakers. can anyone help me?
Is there a fuse from the amp to the speakers? Yor help would be
appreciated! ,,,Mac

Yes, there is. It's usually internal to the amp, if it's a separate
amp, and is self-healing.
Now, when I did this very thing to my father's 98 Odyssey (new radio and
speakers, no external amp), the radio worked for one day and then quit
just like you described--all car fuses were fine, the radio was
illuminated and apparently working properly, etc.
I read the new radio manual and found the reset procedure. These things
are just computers, right? I hit the reset button and the radio started
putting out sound again.
