yeah, its just a mule shell. because they dont know what the production version of that car will look like yet.

they are doing the same thing with the new nsx. they have the new nsx motor in a modified s2000 chassis. it looks all stretched out at wierd too.

Interesting....design has issues IMO but since its only a test mule body, hopefully the finaly looks less like a Franken-Fit.

Hey guys this is a 'Partner' shell with a Fit front end. The Partner is based off of the Fit platform. It has similar engine choices. It is used in Japan etc as a small delivery van. It is basically a Fit station wagon. It is more than likely a mule car. Also known as a senkosha car.

If you check the website link, they say its part fit and airwave styling, but since its left hand drive and carries california plates I would believe it is based on a current fit platform. They have three of them in the pic, so I don't think lhd conversions of any japanese models were used. Actually it looks like a fit dash in the second pic.

Edit: I looked up the partner....definitly has body styling of it. I just hope it doesn't take that shape. Maybe partly what the stream might be, but in any case there will be tons of 4WD drivetrains to test for some Fit 4WD action.
