It looks like much of the speculation regarding the much hyped Fit Hybrid is just smoke and mirrors.

Taeko Fukui, CEO of Honda Motor Co has stated that there is no plans for a Fit Hybrid, but that HMC will have a new Hybrid in 2009 (Insight MKII?)

Not a bad thing for me, as I am waiting to see if the 2008 Fit will be a MMC or FMC before I put my deposit down. But does it effect your Fit plans?
