just a little side note about swifts..."back in the day" i went to buy a cheap used car for work at a little car lot in town..it looked like a geo metro with ground effects, it had recaro style seats in it and it would blow the tires off....it was a 1989 suzuki swift....i bought it for $1000 bucks and it was one of the funnest cars i have ever owned. the motors in those things were awesome.

though for handling, it seems to line up with the specs for the new fit, everything i've read indicates that the new fit is more geared for comfort than performance. we'll just have to see if the new fit can still out slalom a ferrari :P
while i never knew that our gen fit was 'geared for performance' ;) ,

its amazing how many people have ingored this post.

we probably wont get a CVT in the states, so try not to pay to much attention to the actual numbers.

I can't believe that the Aveo was named #1 in the Motoring ( show?) I guess they don't mind looking like idiots.

when are people going to put weight in perspective?

I think I might be going crazy here :o

I could have sworn I was the OP of this thread and had started it by posted up a great link to an artical that went in great depth and detail about the differences between the two Fit's engines.
