96 Honda Accord "chrome" plastic handle

In enthusiastically opening the door in a rainstorm, I managed to break the
driver's door interior handle, the piece of chromed look plastic that
unlatches the door.
Any idea what a dealer charges for replacement handles?

Re: 96 Honda Accord "chrome" plastic handle

A friend broke a plastic window handle on an older honda of mine while
trying to escape a green cloud of noxious gas. This happened years ago
and I can still remember his screaming, "Fenster Auf". Still brings
tears of laughter - google honda parts and it will take you a couple of
minutes to find the part and cost. Go to a junk yard and get one for a
few bucks - a simple retainer ring just snaps off - do it with needle
nose pliers and a screwdriver.

FENSTER AUF! Means Open Window.
