geez it looks like an unmodified Fit would win:D haahaa
sounded funky (not bad just funky)
funky as in pulling your zipper while going in reverse.

It just didn't seem that great, but it also seemed as if he was babying it a
bunch. A stock MT Fit can probably do a 9 sec 0-60. That looks like what the S/C Yaris did.

I just wonder what he used to tune the Blitz SC........and if he's running aftermarket injectors?

I am politely going to have to disagree. I really liked the sound of the car. It had nice guttural sound to it that was drowned out by the pulley. I still hate the car though.

Well an Echo hatchback with Blitz supercharger untuned, stock injectors, stock axleback & megan header, JDM close ratio transmission & TRD LSD(nice traction) is a bit slower than a stock brand new Mini Cooper S turbo in straight line....not sure about corners YET.

This is real life comparison that I've seen.....

Funky as in odd but good:D
I dig classic minis which always sound like they are going in reverse:rotfl:

I like that sort of mesh transmission sound (some call it a whine)...I am sad like that:D haahaa

straight cut gears baby! Eardrums are over rated...haahaa

Thank God & a friend I didn't choose a Yaris. But I definitely think the KWSC Fit would whip up on s/c Yaris in my opinion

this sucks, i'm at work, and thus can't see the vid!

was it really that slow? or are we assuming it posted a 9 second 0-60?

i can do a low 9 second sprint in my AUTO fit, leaving it just in drive!

I just looked at the seconds displaying on the vid when he starts the run to when he hits 60. Look to be about in the 9sec range. But I really doesn't seem like he is in anyway pushing it...more like babying it.

agreed. i test drove the yaris when i was looking to buy, and it's a lot more gutless than the fit, if you can believe that. so you gotta figure a supercharged yaris is only going to be as fast or maybe slightly faster than the stock fit.

Sure, I want to believe, but really I think they're pretty close to equally slow.

What I notice from the video is how much closer the gears are on the Fit. He hits 60mph in 2nd gear. According to the rpm/speed chart someone posted a while back the Fit would be well over 5000rpm in 3rd at 60. So with the supercharger making more of its power increase at higher engine speed, the supercharged Fit should easily out-run that Yaris... or so I will choose to believe.

Sounds like a pretty fun little car but the gauge cluster is still in the middle of the dash;)
