Hello everybody. I just went through egmcartech & I couldn't believe I ran into this. I know last night I replied on the Genesis coupe, but this also kinda blew my mind. Well as for my opinion on it, it's not a bad looking car, even though it kinda looks like Civic, ( I think the Civic looks better.) but like nearly 290 hp stock? Well that takes the cake, unless they have to tone down the boost for emission reasons, ( that's why they got rid of the Cobalt SS/SC). another thing, they should just give it another name instead of the KOUP. (makes me think it's a flying chicken, lol.) Well I gotta say, Hyundai/Kia are definitely on the prowl.

Although if u didnt know this already, they are bringing the Cobalt SS back for '09, this time in turbo form.:)

Yeah & it should have been turboed anyways. I got nothing against supercharging at all, but everything is getting turboed nowadays.

 

All I can say is wow, another massive rip off from Kia. :rolleyes:

No wonder they can always sell their cars cheaper, there is no R&D cost :p

I doubt the final product would be anything special compared to the Civic, but it would be at least 5000$ cheaper.
