Looking thru 6 million reviews (heh) and noted that in some of the photos of the Fit, from a frontal view, the Fit looks like a Civic. Had never noticed that before in other photos. All the web sites seem to have the photos of the red Fit, and the front end looks a great deal like the Civic. Hmmmmm

Not surprising. It seems that all car companies push for a "corporate identity" in their styling. Look at the Ford line, or Dodge, for example.


What I dislike about this "family" styling idea is that if you don't like the looks of one of the company's cars, you won't like any of them.

 

Yes and no ... yeah, as Uncle G stated above, there is the whole "family styling" going on, but, nah ...wouldn't mistake one for a Civic any day

 

I agree. I don't think they look at all alike beyond the corporate grille treatment, which is pretty much universal among manufacturers.

 

I think ALL Hondas look very similar in the front end to the point where size is the only way to tell some apart.

 

I think the Civic looks very similar to the Accord. The Fit doesn't look like either of them IMO.

 

No, the Fit doesn't look like a Civic. One of the reasons why I bought it.
